Opened in March 2008 in Emba, Paphos. Little Acorns is run by UK qualified staff with over 20 years experience. Little Acorns has a homely atmosphere offering a warm, fun loving, happy and stimulating environment. With our staff you can relax, safe in the knowledge that your child is receiving the very best of care. The nursery has been designed to create the best possible learning environment including a large, enclosed garden area and 4 well equipped age appropriate rooms with a separate dining area. At Little Acorns we understand the need for learning through play for children of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to encourage and support all children to enable them to reach their full potential. Meeting their needs from a very young age will greatly promote understanding and enjoyment of learning throughout the years to come.
We recognise that all children do not progress at the same pace; they are never pushed, but individually encouraged and supported. We provide stimulating resources and equipment to help reinforce learning We understand the need for children to be treated as individuals, learning and developing at their own pace. All children have specific needs according to their age and ability.  These needs are met by continuous support, encouragement and praise to ensure that each child reaches their full potential.
Our
goal is to prepare your child for going on to school and meeting their
needs from an early age will greatly promote understanding and
enjoyment of learning and education. The nursery follows the
"Early Years - Foundation Stage" which has been designed to promote
children's welfare, develop positive relations and meet children's
individual needs.

Activities
are based on fun and designed to encourage children's all round
development. A wide variety of exciting and fun activities and
resources are provided to ensure children remain stimulated and
engaged. These activities are carried out on a 1-1 or group
situation where children's individual needs and stage of development
can be monitored. We focus on learning through play and our aim
is to ensure your child is prepared for school.
 Our pre-school room is designed to stimulate, intrigue and inspire our young learners and all activities and resources are easily accessed by the children. The emphasis will be on creative communication, language and literacy, knowledge and understanding of the world and maths. All areas are designed to capture children’s imagination and interest and develop a variety of important skills. Children can make friends and share the fun of learning with others in a happy safe and secure environment.    We believe that a well equipped, stimulating outdoor play area is an essential part of nursery day care provision. Children love outdoor play and the nursery’s outdoor play provision offers a range of equipment and activities. We have a growing area for the children to grow fruit vegetables and a sensory garden. The children’s education will extend to the outside areas to include activities such as bug hunting, arts and craft and running and dancing, sand and water to name but a few. The garden is both safe and secure and peaceful and the trees offer welcome shade during the summer months.
